Abstract

E-business is a concept that becomes more and more popular. Some people are confusing E-commerce with the previous concept and this paper’s aim is to clarify the difference between them and to describe one of the oldest online models, more specifically the American one. The e-commerce started where the Internet started and that’s why the American model is one of the most suitable one. Furthermore there are described in the methodology of the project the needs of population which basically participated in creating the e-commerce system. The biggest American players on the online market are spread all over the world and there were several factors in the American society which had helped to the growing and internationalizing of these big competitors.

This paper presents a general analysis of e- commerce and also the influence of e-commerce on business. Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has a significant impact on businesses and the business environment seen in its totality. Analysis of the impact of electronic commerce, however, requires knowledge concerning e-commerce and the possible forms of organization of its businesses. On this reason in this article we present the first part of the concept of e-commerce and forms of organization in enterprises and in the second part of the general framework for analyzing the impact of e-commerce organizations in America. In this context it shows that there are different trends in different groups regarding the attitude towards e-commerce. It is worth mentioning that the US straddle the terms shopping online, followed by Canada, Asian countries (Japan, Korea, Taiwan), and European countries, among them Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway) and the Western European countries (Britain France, Italy, Germany) has been head of the sample.

The main results and conclusions of this paper represents that it is a fact that the Internet has changed the current economy, changing the way of doing business, how to think. We recognize the benefits and advantages of using the Internet now. E commerce solutions creates a lifestyle based on the Internet between all market participants: manufacturers and customers, partners and suppliers, thus optimizing supply Intergal chain from the sale of their products. E-commerce has changed the concept of classical economics, it currently exceeds the country's borders and is rapidly expanding worldwide. This kind of trade, namely electronic commerce is now "spearhead" of modern economies.

Introduction

According to Feng Li (Li, 2007) as a post to the evolution of e-business concept, “the nature of the economy has changed, as measured by the informational (intangible) elements of our products and services and production processes, and the proportion of the workforce whose primary activities are informational rather than physical.”

Therefore, the business infrastructure had to adopt the new changes, in order to better cope with market opportunities and trends. Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has a significant impact on businesses and the business environment seen in its totality. Analysis of the impact of electronic commerce, however, requires knowledge concerning e-commerce and the possible forms of organization of its businesses. On this reason in this article we present the first part of the concept of e-commerce and forms of organization in enterprises and in the second part of the general framework for analyzing the impact of e-commerce organization.

This paper integrates the idea that e-commerce is part of e-business. A long time ago, the American companies were acting as transactional commerce sites, however, today, they are much more than that. The companies integrate now internal network of relations between their employees, promotion activities, they create synergy within the customers. The elements that constitute a e-commerce company are actor, process and product. The focus of this paper is to introduce the reader to a new prospective of doing business online, moreover to clarify who e-commerce has influenced the way that business are done in America and how that made the process of internationalization much easier for the American companies.
