Gabriel Logan Newell (Gabe Newell) is the co-founder and managing director of one of the most successful video game development and online distribution company, VALVe Corporation.

In his early years, he dropped out of Harvard University, he spent 13 years working at Microsoft, contributing to the first releases of Windows OS, ultimately becoming a “Microsoft Millionaire”.

He left Microsoft, along with Mike Harrington to put the bases of VALVe Corporation in 1996.

His net worth is 1.15 billion dollars, the 854th(out of 1.226) in Forbes’ worldwide billionaires top.

He is a very respected business man and game developer, a very good and humble person, and because of this, he was friends with everyone, they all saw him as a role model for any kind of aspiring young video game developer.

Because he, unlike most game developers, released downloadable content for already released games, with lower price and enjoyable content made to improve the gameplay experience, instead of making more money, people respected him much more, because of his desire to give people what they deserve and pay for.
