The company was established in 1998 in Bucharest, and it is focused on selling toys. Our customers are in general children` s, but lately as a result of market research, we have started to sell plush toys, and that for a lot of peoples started to buy from us.
The company is a sole proprietor business and it was floated by Mircea Rusu. He invested 25,000 $ in his first store and after that he spent another 5 000 $, when he imported toys.
The actual capital of the company is 123,000 $, and has the central store in Bucharest, but desiring to expand his business, Mircea Rusu, created a chain of stores in the country reaching that in 2008 his business to include 9 stores.
Every store has five employees plus the manager. The latter deals both with the financial part of the business and for smooth running of business, with a store promotion and maintenance of satisfactory relationships with customers.
Also in 2008 Mircea Rusu thought his business must go to another level. So he made an internet page for his stores, so that could buy from him everyone even if the person lives in a city in which he has not opened shop. This has necessitated new labor force so that from 54 employees, he has now 61.
Given the fact that he was among the first in this area he is not too worry about competition.
Product Promotion
As everyone know, in sales industry , without promotion you can say goodbye profit, goodbye business. That for we promote our toys constantly. The most important way of promotion is Tv advertising , but is not the only one. We have billboards with out stores in every town, and regulary , we make advertising campaign , paying some people to share leaflets on the street . We`ve made banner exchange on internet with some other sites, and also we sponsor cultural events or entertaining events.
In way to keep our customers, we offer fidelity cards to everyone how buys toys from us that worth more than 20 $.With those cards our costumers have 5 % discount , next time they buy from us.
Human Resources
Every store has his own manager, but the interview for employing someone is the same wherever the store is located. So besides the normal questions relating to the person concerned, there are some decisive for candidates like:
-Where do you see you over 5 years?
-Why are you applying for this job?
-Where have you worked before?
