1.1 Presentation of our offer
Mia Day Spa is a new type of Day spa in Toulouse and even in France, offering complete day services for women who gave birth recently.
We offer a 5 ultra-chic, ultra-comfortable treatment rooms with the finest spa linens and equipment. We will use two of them as massage rooms and the two remaining rooms for body treatments. The fifth one will be used for the nursery services. In addition, we dispose a water activities area of 60 m2. This one is divided into a 10 m2 hammam, a 10 m2 sauna and a swimming pool. We offer massage in a variety of styles - Classical General Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Stone Massage. We also offer body treatments like body scrub and body wrapping. The Mia Day Spa has the latest in anti-aging products and techniques but does not offer services on hair such as cutting, styling and colouring. Our licensed aestheticians and kinesitherapists offer the latest in skin treatments, body treatments and anti-aging therapies.
Our mission is to run a profitable business by providing high-end therapeutic massage and aesthetician services in a caring, upscale, professional environment. Our goal is to ensure the client's comfort and satisfaction, especially for young mothers, and to increase repeat business. We are mindful of the overall experience - using only the finest oils and lotions, beauty treatments and aromatherapies. Special lighting, music, decor, and textiles are used throughout the spa to complete the comfortable, plush environment and enhance the client's overall spa experience.
This business plan has been developed to track progress prior to grand opening and following through with a 3-year projection. In addition, this plan has been written to secure a small portion of the start-up funding necessary for our Spa's successful kick-off.

1.3 Keys to success
We would like to precise a few key points about our spa business success:
- Proximity of urban female customers (with children, stressed, with sufficient incomes to afford this kind of service and open-minded to new well-being concepts).
- Enough surfaces in order to offer a real impression of calm, safety and relaxation.
- Quality of the equipments (room, spa, heating and air conditioning, humidity regulation, furniture) and of the environment (location, accessibility, materials, decoration and design, lighting).
- A range of simple but serious services, giving the clients the sensation of a real well-being approach, in a consistent unity and harmony.
- Necessity of a strong team working together (reception, spa cares, discussion, security, cost control…).
- Sufficient budget to allow a start without any risk (moderate loan interests and sufficient capital (BFR)).

Mrs. X, the owner and the manager has been an aesthetician for 17 years. She graduate of Elysée Marbeuf in 1990, she worked as a Beauty Centre Manager for the last 10 years. Now at 38 year she wants to put a value to her experience and open her own business! She loves dealing with people, and has the drive, ambition, and discipline to manage the business and its employees. This career is her life -- her calling.
Herself, mother of 3 children; 5, 7 and 9 years, she was dealing with the problems for baby care! The principal idea of this business is offering a spa service for young parents; it’s a new and innovative concept a “child friendly spa”.
